We are currently seeking volunteers to help with education outreach at public events and volunteer aquarists to help further our mission at Guy Harvey Outpost located in St. Pete Beach. No experience is necessary for volunteering with us, all training is provided. However, feeling comfortable speaking to and interacting with the public is necessary.


Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer program is currently open to applicants 16 years of age and older.

Aquarist Volunteer

Help with the daily maintenance of our aquaria! Assist with food preparation, water quality monitoring, and teaching the public about our aquarium inhabitants and promoting good choices to protect the marine environment.

Education Outreach Volunteer

We get around! Help us educate the public and promote the Marine Exploration Center at public events such as food truck rallies, Lionfish derbies, science festivals and more!
